STONCHEM: High performance lining systems
What is STONCHEM?
Stonchem is the resin lining systems with the tough polymer formulations especially designed for tough environments i.e. ultra-corrosive areas caused by chemicals (including Inorganic Acids) as well as extreme physical conditions. In Thailand Stonchem offer four broad series of resin technology, 500, 600, 700, and 800 series that resist to different chemicals. Each series also offer various levels of physical system configurations for different physical needs of the areas.
However, selecting the right system is only the beginning to solve the corrosion problems. By our experience we have realized that engineering details, surface preparation and installation are critical factors affecting the long-term performance of the lining system.
While these elements represent only 40% of the cost of a typical lining system, lack of attention to or elimination of these details leads to 90% of all lining failures 90%!
